The cool thing about tech, cars, and our own unique personalities; is that everyone has something different!

So, what do your computer/phone/tablet wallpapers look like? Anything goes (but if you have a NSFW wallpaper, give warning first).

I have an armada of devices at home, but I'm at work, so I'll just do what I have on me today.

My personal MacBook 3,1 (I use it for IT work at my job): Aston Vanquish from the R&T post.

The Lenovo Thinkcentre work desktop (Call Center): Porsche 911 from the R&T post.

And finally, my iPotato 5 (the lockscreen used to be a pic of a girl and I...Oh well...): My car before I started modding it.

My laptop is blank green, because it's Vista and already running like enough of a steaming pile. My desktop.. don't remember. It's unused these days. My phone is a generic black "splash" background for good contrast. My work machine...

Is just better than any of them.

It's a pretty cool app geared towards adventure and/or dating (since the car is for two). You set some parameters, and it'll send you on an adventure. And it always seems to choose great routes and locations.

Though it was developed for the UK, it works just fine for me here in Illinois...

It's like having a broken door on your office. If you get used to it, it functions *well enough* as administered, and it's a conversation piece, it's almost a shame to "fix" it. It's been that way since 2009. That, and the graphics driver issue that was causing it to heat itself into protective hibernate continually *did* get fixed.

Okay, Laptop and iPad are totally awesome!!! The one thing I hate about iOS 7-8 is the ridiculous zoom the parallax effect think it needs...So finding wallpapers that will properly fit is a headache...

I think I've had that one since before iOS 7 popped up; it's very much a, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' sort of thing. Still, I probably won't have an iPad all that much longer - it's an old iPad 2, I really can't deal with the slowness any more, and I'm sort of done with iOS - so I'll be plumbing the depths of the Internet for something new soon enough.

Ok, so I'm kind of obsessed with cleanliness and organization, but I'm currently culling the work machine from the past 3 sysadmins who didn't stick (except one who moved for a lesser commute) but here is my work PC:

This was my personal laptop wallpaper until it became our media center and my wife had to look at it all the time.

So I changed the home computer to this:

Oooh, mine's an iPad 2 as well. Is yours running iOS 8? Mine was so perfectly fast with iOS 7, then came iOS 8 and the thing is so slow. As a techie, I'm going through steps to see if there's any problem I created or can fix, but so far, it's infuriating.

Worst case, I'll just downgrade to iOS 7. :)

I agree, Windows Vista is a great conversation piece. After a certain amount of time, even upgrading to Windows 7 won't do much as Vista had such a negative impact on hardware too.

I had some issues with it on 7 - multitasking just did not work, and there were masses of bugs - but it's certainly gotten worse with 8. I could try to fix it... But I've had it for three years now, and I feel like it's time for a change. I'm waiting on reviews of the Nexus 9.

The plant, the poster, the window...all perfect.

As my office space is a call center (or a tiny server room when I do IT), I have an adorable and ugly cubicle with a horrible refurbished desktop running the show. Same exact Samsung screen you have as well...maybe they just give those things out!

The benefits of being the company fleet manager: everyone kinda kisses your ass for a nicer car so they give you the nicest office. I even have a door, and cabinets!

We get these lame monitors by the pallet load every few months. They must truly just give them out.

Absolutely, and you're in IT as well. Look me up on LinkedIn, I hate that I can't just wipe my machines, because there is no other IT staff currently and no existing image for my desktop and tools. So i have to clean it up until I only have what is needed and then maybe image it.

But as the time for city/county inspection and tag renewal approaches and now knowing the full ridiculous that this so-called red "free" state has on its inspection I fear my beloved Discovery and my electrically challenged d21 nissan are going to have to go away, otherwise I won't be able to register either.

I would test drive both, the focus was nice, but it didn't seem quite as together as the fiesta did. The focus DOES have flat folding seats, while the fiesta has a slight incline. I was able to move a small freezer just the other day though.

Could be worse. My tech school (working in the field while I get my degree) gave us pathetic Acer Aspire netbooks (they still make Celeron processors!?!?!?!) with what may be pirated copies of Windows 7. And bad copies too, every driver was severely outdated...Ugh...

My 8 year old MacBook is superior in literally every way but HDD size.

Which I'm okay with...because the little things came with Windows 8...
